St.Joseph’s Topple Cratloe To Set Up County Final Derby

St.Joseph’s Doora-Barefield have toppled Cratloe to set up a derby county final in the TUS Clare Senior Football Championship.

Led by playmaker Tom McDonald, the Parish raised green flags through Odhran O’Connell, Tom Curran and a Joe Rafferty bullet.

Cratloe, who found the net in the first-half through Mike Brennan had plenty of opportunities to find an equalising goal late on, however three second half saves from netminder Tom O’Brien proved crucial to Doora-Barefield’s victory.

As it finished 3-11 to 1-14 in their favour, to set up a showpiece with neighbours Eire Óg in two weeks time.
