The incident happened near Creditview and Britannia roads just after 8 p.m. Paramedics say the victim was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A man is in hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries after being struck by the driver of a vehicle in Mississauga on Sunday evening, Peel paramedics say.

The collision happened at the intersection of Creditview Road and Britannia Road West.

Creditview is closed southbound at Britannia as police investigate.
