Regional police are investigating after a driver and her passenger were assaulted by a group of males in a Kitchener parking lot.
According to the Waterloo Regional Police Service, the incident took place on Saturday at around 3:25 p.m.
A woman was driving through the parking lot of the shopping plaza located near the Highland Road West and Belmont Avenue West area, when she was confronted by four males near a crosswalk.
One of the males allegedly became aggressive towards the woman, damaging her vehicle and assaulting her and the passenger in the vehicle.
Somebody walking by the incident intervened and was also assaulted.
Police continue to investigate, and are asking anyone with more information to contact them.
