A woman is in hospital with serious injuries after falling from a second-floor window. Emergency services were called to Breck Road, Anfield at around 2.50pm today, September 29.
The woman, aged in her 30s, was taken to hospital for assessment of injuries. She is in a serious but stable condition. Following enquiries, a 39-year-old man from Everton was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment. He has been taken to a police station for questioning.
A cordon remains in place in the area while forensic investigation takes place.
Police are appealing for anyone who has information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Natalie Charlesworth said: “These are the early stages of our investigation so I would ask that anyone who saw the incident or lives nearby comes forward with any information, including CCTV or doorbell footage.”We are working to establish exactly what happened and are keeping an open mind, so please speak to us directly or anonymously via Crimestoppers with anything which could assist our work.”Anyone with information on the incident should contact the Merseyside Police social media desk @MerPolCC on X and Facebook quoting reference 25000803066.
