CCTV of a man shooting into a home in Sydney’s inner-west with a “high-powered rifle” has been released as detectives try to track him down.

Emergency services were called following reports bullets were fired into a home on Davidson Avenue in Concord at about 1.10am on July 3.

There was nobody inside at the time, and no injuries were reported.

Shortly after, emergency services were called to Stuart Street in Burwood after reports of a car fire.

Firefighters extinguished the fire, however, a white GV Genesis SUV was destroyed in the blaze.

Burwood police established crime scenes at both locations and treated the incidents as linked.

Strike detectives have released footage of the shooting, which depicts two men arriving outside the home in the SUV before the passenger steps out and fires at the home with what police have called “a high-powered rifle”.

CCTV also captures the men setting the car on fire shortly after in Burwood before fleeing the scene towards Granville in a Mitsubishi Lancer.

Detectives are urging anybody with information about the two men depicted in the video to contact police.
