Waterloo Regional Police want to know exactly how many people did a suspect assault while they were walking through the main intersection in Elmira.
Police were called out to the area of Arthur Street and Church Street around 2:00 on Monday afternoon for reports of pedestrians being assaulted.
A 61-year-old woman from Waterloo was arrested at the scene.
Investigators believe other pedestrians may have been assaulted.
Police do not specify how the suspect was allegedly assaulting these people: pushing, punching, spitting on them, etc.
Neither have they specified the exact charge, or charges, laid against the Waterloo woman.
