A 12-year-old boy is in hospital in stable condition after he collided with a vehicle near Kingston and Mason roads in Scarborough.
A 12-year-old boy was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle while riding his scooter in Scarborough.
It happened near Kingston and Mason roads at around 8:41 a.m., Toronto police said.
The boy was rushed to hospital via emergency run by Toronto Paramedic Services. Paramedics later said he was in stable condition, but did not elaborate on his injuries.
Images from the scene showed the scooter lying in the roadway, near the vehicle, both surrounded by yellow police tape.
The circumstances leading up to the collision were not immediately clear.
Police are continuing to investigate.
