Kardashian, who was born a male named Gabrielle Alejandro Gentile, changed her name by deed poll and received a Gender Recognition Certificate from the State.
Kardashian, who was sentenced in March 2023 to five-and-a-half years with the final 12 months suspended, is due for release from Limerick Prison within days.
A source said Kardashian, who is on the same wing as former Sinn Fein councillor Jonathan Dowdall and gangland killer Freddie Thompson, will have to reside at an address approved by the gardai and probation services upon leaving the confinements of the jail.
She must also notify the probation services of any post-release intimate relationships, not communicate with her parents and co-operate with a Garda liaison officer.
Kardashian, who was born a male named Gabrielle Alejandro Gentile and has not had transition surgery, changed her name by deed poll and received a Gender Recognition Certificate from the State.
Her case came to national attention and was the centre of debate over whether or not she should be housed in a female prison.
Gardai are understood to be putting a plan in place in order to keep a close eye on Kardashian, who has 15 previous convictions including for threats to kill, sexual assault, assault causing harm and criminal damage to property.
She must adhere to a number of strict rules for a period of two years after release and if she does not follow these the suspended part of her sentence will be enacted.
A source said: “Kardashian is due for release any day now. The exact time and day is being kept a highly guarded secret.
“Kardashian is a very dangerous individual and while at the jail was kept away from other inmates.
“When leaving her cell, a number of prison staff must be present and accompany her where ever she goes.
“Gardai will be keeping a close eye on her after her release due to the severity of the threats she made towards her mother.
“She must abide by a number of rules once released and if she doesn’t she will end up back in prison to serve the 12 months of her sentence which were suspended.
“Gardai will also have to know where she is living at all times and if she is in an intimate relationship with someone.
“She is very volatile and you never know what she is going to do next.”

In March 2023, Kardashian was sentenced to five and a half years with the final 12 months suspended by Judge Tom O’Donnell at Limerick Circuit Criminal Court.
A jury found her guilty of seven threats against her mother at her trial in May 2022.
She had planned to travel to her mother’s house, overpower her, and then rape and violently torture her with a screwdriver, knife and boiling water.
Judge Tom O’Donnell also noted that five psychiatrists had assessed Kardashian and her background file “and all five psychiatrists believe the case presents a real danger of carrying out her fantasies.”
During the trial, Judge O’Donnell said Kardashian set out the plan in “chilling” detail of how she had planned to wait in the house until she had satisfied herself her mother had “bled out” and no longer had a pulse.
Gardai told the court at the time that they continued to have “grave concerns” about her “motivation to carry out the threats”.
Detective Garda Niall Fitzgerald from Roxboro Road Garda Station, Limerick, gave evidence at the time stating gardai believe Kardashian continues to “pose a significant threat to those she has made threats towards, as well as to the wider public”.
And just last October, Kardashian was acquitted of threatening to kill a female prison officer and female inmate or cause serious harm to the two women.
She told gardai that while she made the threats she never intended to carry them out.
Kardashian told her trial she had wanted to “torture” and “electrocute” the genitals of a female prisoner, using an “electric rod”, when she threatened to rape her on February 25, 2023.
She was found “not guilty” by a jury of seven women and five men following a four-day trial at Limerick Circuit Criminal Court.
Kardashian told the trial she wanted to rape prison officer Roisin Linnane, but that this would not have been a realistic threat as she was locked up alone in her cell for 22 hours a day.
She gave evidence that she wanted the two women to “suffer” because she was upset and angry over rumours which had been circulating around the female wing of the prison that she had been leaving the showers dirty with body hair.
Kardashian said she wanted to use an object to rape Ms McGhee: “I wanted to use an electric rod, but that wasn’t available to me.
Kardashian looked visibly surprised after the verdicts were read out and said she was happy with the outcome.
A spokesman for the Irish Prison Service (IPS) said: “The Irish Prison Service does not comment on individual prisoner cases.”
