Robert Irwin’s latest performance at Dancing With the Stars Season 34 had fans buzzing for an unexpected reason.

The Australian conservationist continues to impress fans with his amazing dance moves and magnetic stage presence.

As the competition heats up, he brought his serious A-game, but this time, it sparked comparisons to none other than Patrick Swayze.

For Tuesday’s episode of DWTS, the theme was TikTok Nights, where participants performed to songs that have gone viral on the social media platform.

The episode featured TikTok star and season 31 winner Charli D’Amelio, who performed “Apple” by Charli XCX.

For Robert Irwin’s Week 3 performance, he and partner Witney Carson danced a sizzling salsa to Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby.”

The 21-year-old didn’t just start out strong with his smooth moves and undeniable charm; he also left fans in awe when he went shirtless, showcasing his athletic build.

On Instagram, he commemorated the special moment by sharing a glimpse of his performance and expressed his gratitude to Carson, while also celebrating making it through another week.

“So much FUN to let loose and show a different side in this week’s salsa! Thank you @witneycarson for helping me find my inner ‘cool.’ I’m so grateful for another week in this competition – truly having the time of my life,” he wrote.

Fans flooded the comment section with congratulations and praise, celebrating every moment of his performance.

In addition, some viewers saw the resemblance of Steve Irwin’s son to the Dirty Dancing star.

“The jump from the jeep was a little Patrick Swayze, this is all over Patrick Swayze,” one wrote.

The same goes for a follower who noted, “That jump was giving Swayze vibes! Holy chit!”

“Patrick Swayze vibes,” a commenter said.

“Patrick Swayze vibes….. but Steve Irwin’s face,” a user echoed.

Fans continue to embrace the comparison to the late actor as they admire him for his dance skills that evoke Swayze’s iconic style.

“Why is this giving me Patrick Swayze vibes? You did amazing, Robert!!!” a follower remarked.

“Geriatric Millennials and Gen X! Did y’all see that JOHNNY CASTLE jump off the stage?!? Patrick Swayze would be so proud!” another added.

While Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles and partner Ezra Sosa and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt and pro dancer Mark Ballas both earned the highest score of 24/30, the Aussie zookeeper received 22/30, securing his spot to continue the competition into Week 4.
