A snack has been recalled over salmonella concerns.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said the recall was triggered by findings during an ongoing investigation into a pistachio-linked salmonella outbreak which has led to numerous other recalls and 105 confirmed illnesses.
In this case, the affected product is the Handfuel brand Raspberry Pistachio Clusters.
The CFIA said it’s being pulled from the marketplace “due to possible salmonella contamination.” It was distributed in Ontario, the agency said.
It’s 120 g in size and has the UPC number 6 28506 83526 5.
The following codes are affected: BB 06/11/2026; BB 06/18/2026.
Consumers were advised to not eat or distribute the product.
It should be thrown out or returned to where it was purchased.
“Food contaminated with salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick,” the CFIA said.
