Inside di four-page letter, wey im address to di district judge of southern New York, Arun Subramanian, 24 hours bifor dem go sentence am, Combs tok say im take ful responsibilities and accountability for im past wrongs.
“I take full responsibility and accountability for my past wrongs. Dis don be di hardest 2 years of my life, and I no get anyone to blame for my current reality and situation but mysef,” e tok for di letter.
Diddy apologise to im ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura for assaulting her and di woman wey testify under di name “Jane” during di trial for hurting her also.
“I literally lose my mind. I dey wrong for beating di woman wey be say I love,” e tok.
“I go always dey sorry for dat. My domestic violence go always be heavy burden wey I go carry forever.”
Diddy tok say im bin dey tink say e dey help provide for Jane and her pikin but afta im come hear her testimony, e don realise say im hurt her. E say, “for dis I dey deeply sorry.”
Diddy explain say im crimes dey “rooted inside im own selfishness” and e dey “lost in drugs and di excess.” E add say afta im don spend one year for prison, e don change for di beta.
“Di old me die for jail and I don reborn, new version of me. Prison go change you or kill you – I choose to live,” Diddy tok.
Combs beg di court make dem reduce im jail time so e go fit spend time with im family and get “anoda chance to be beta papa, anoda chance to be beta son, anoda chance to be beta leader for my community, and anoda chance to live beta life.”

“Four out of my children lose dia mama, Kim Porter, as she tragically die for 2018. I be di only parent. I don fail my children as dia papa. My papa die of murder wen I bin dey 3-year-old so I know how e take be if pesin no get papa.”
Wetin e dey guilty of?
Dem find am guilty of two counts of transportation to engage for prostitution. Each count carry maximum sentence of 10 years for prison.
Prosecutors don ask for minimum of 11 years, but Diddy lawyers don argue say such sentence go dey too dramatic to reach.

Dem arrest di 55-yearl-old for September 2024, and di judge don deny am two bail requests since di trial begin.
