Barbie Kardashian says she had “violent sexual fantasises” about fellow prison mate Jonathan Dowdall behind bars.Volatile criminal Kardashian (23), who is facing arrest after making new threats upon her release from Limerick Prison this week, told the Irish Mirror how she regularly saw and heard State witness Dowdall, who shared the same landing as her, and grew “jealous” of him.Kardashian, who was imprisoned for threatening to rape and kill her mother, shared a cell on the D landing of Limerick Prison, where she and Dowdall were locked up 23 hours a day – and were able to get an hour on the landing, albeit never at the same time. But she says she often saw and sometimes spoke to Dowdall – who is serving sentence for his role in the Regency Hotel murder of David Byrne, as he would pass her cell during is free time on the landing.

“I didn’t really like Jonathan Dowdall. I did have violent thoughts and violent fantasises towards him. Obviously I didn’t carry them out because I was locked in my cell when he was on the landing and we never had physical contact. But I did have violent fantasies for various reasons.

“I was so jealous of him because he was a lot more famous than me, a lot wealthier than me. He got a lot more time out of his cell than me. He used to get along with the staff. There were a lot of times I did have extreme violent sexualised fantasies towards him. Not because I found him attractive, definitely not. My fantasies were fuelled by hatred, resentment, that I felt towards him.”Dowdall is himself coming to the end of his prison term for booking the hotel room used by gunman Kevin ‘Flat Cap’ Murray in the Hutch hit on Kinahan cartel associate David Byrne in the Regency Hotel on February 5, 2016.

He infamously gave evidence on behalf of the State in the Special Criminal Court trial of Gerry ‘The Monk’ Hutch, which was not believed by the judges and assisted in his acquittal. He and Kardashian would have been among the most high profile prisoners in the prison estate – and were housed together on the secure wing where they could be closely monitored.Barbie, who earlier today told us she is expecting to be arrested soon, is now living in Dublin, where she says she has already met various fans. But Kardashian, who is a legally recognised female under Irish law, says she has been upset by comments made on social media referring to her as male.“The only negative part about the attention is when people refer to me using male pronouns. The rest of it is just amazing.“I see myself as a woman. I’ve been following non stop the things that people have been saying about me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook. It does really really upset me when people refer to me using male pronouns,” Kardashian said.“I just feel so disgusted and so upset when people refer to me using male pronouns. When I hear those kinds of comments it just really upsets me. It just kills me. It makes me feel sick. It’s just terrible to listen to.”

“I’m expecting to be arrested at some point. When, obviously I don’t know but I am expecting to be arrested imminently. Maybe it’s good that I’m meeting with my probation this morning because maybe he will be able to give me further information as to what the view of the probation services is in relation to the threats that I made.”Kardashian told us she did not enjoy prison, and realises she will likely be returning there – and be held accountable for her new threats. “Prison completely destroyed me, being locked in a prison 22-23 hours a day, completely destroyed me.2Kardashian’s horrific remarks have already seen the Irish Prison Service offering support and security measures to those affected – as well as issuing a formal complaint to gardai.Pointed out to Kardashian that she was admitting to wanting to carry out criminal offences, she responded: “Essentially yes. My position hasn’t changed from what I said on Wednesday.”She also boasted that she is enjoying the attention – but insisted her threats are real. “I mean I think there’s also I enjoy media attention so I think it will get attention. I am being genuine in what I’m staying, I’m not trying to mislead you or anything.“No, no it’s genuine, it’s genuine, I would describe myself as a troubled young girl, a troubled young woman. I’ve said this to previous psychologists, previous psychiatrists. I said it to a lot of people while I was in Limerick Prison. These aren’t just conversations I’ve had with the media.”Put to her that she will likely be going back to prison, Kardashian seemed accepting that this was the case.“I think that it would be a matter of just maybe accepting responsibility for my actions. I think in a situation like that I would just have to accept responsibility for my actions.“I think it’s reasonable, obviously if I am charged with the threats I have made that would be a breach of my bail conditions because obviously one of the conditions of my probation is not to commit any further criminal offences. So if I am charged with another criminal offence that would be a breach of my probation conditions. In that event I probably will be recalled to prison to serve the suspended part of my sentence. I think it’s one year,” she said.Asked if she had any remorse for causing four people distress with her new threats she said: “Those four people, no I don’t have any remorse. Pride instead of remorse.”Speaking about her new life in Dublin, Kardashian said she has already been noticed on the streets – and she is enjoying the attention.“Some people have noticed me. For example I was on Moore Street on Wednesday evening and someone was like oh you’re Barbie. Oh you’re famous now, can I have a photo with you to show my friends? I love being recognised, like it’s just amazing. I love the attention, it makes me feel famous.“ I wish more people could recognise me, I wish I was mobbed in public, I would just love that so much. I love it.”Gardai said officers in Limerick are aware of Kardashian’s prior comments made on Wednesday.”An Garda Síochána in Limerick are aware of the remarks made. As a matter of policy, we do not comment on statements made by third parties. No further comment will be provided at this time,” a garda spokesperson said.In a statement to this paper, the Irish Prison Service said that such threats are taken very seriously – and that staff who are subjected to them are offered support.“Any act or threat of violence against a prison officer is unacceptable. Any criminal act carried out including assaults or threats on a staff member, are reported to An Gardaí Síochána for investigation and prosecution. Staff who are subject to an assault or threat are given the necessary supports through the employee assistance programme,” they said. “Section 19 of the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act 1994 as amended specifically provides for assaults or threats to peace officers including prison officers acting in the execution of their duty. Any person who assaults or threatens to assault a peace officer in the execution of their duty is guilty of an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine or a term of imprisonment not exceeding 12 months or both or on convictions on indictment to a fine or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 years or both.”
