A senior political source said after receiving Hamas’s response that “we are in the first stage of this outline. The IDF remains in Gaza and the withdrawal will only be to the yellow line and surrounding Gaza City during the hostage release phase.” According to him, “No one is withdrawing right now, we are in fire reduction and not a ceasefire. In the first stage, all hostages are released. From there we will continue negotiations.”
