“They were better than us, they’ve scored a worldy from 30 yards, probably in our best spell. But the feeling here was that we simply didn’t have enough today in every aspect.
“I want us to show more personality and more belief in what we’re doing, that’s something I need to get out of the players.
“It’s probably the worst we’ve felt in the two or three months I’ve been here because we didn’t deserve anything from the game.
“It’s a real shame we’ve given the fans that sort of performance and result. We’re so well supported, we’ve always felt that and we’ll always feel that and it’s our responsibility to repay that.
“We’ve got two weeks now to sit and have the frustrations of this type of performance and result before we start another block of games for which we need to be ready.”
