President Isaac Herzog said that “with the end of the High Holy Days, the State of Israel faces historic moments of opportunity that require national responsibility. Our collective prayer is for the success of the plan: first and foremost, the urgent return of all hostages – every last one of them, and changing the reality in the entire region.” He added: “I call on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and strengthen his resolve to continue working through every means to quickly advance the plan presented by U.S. President Donald Trump, and first – to bring our loved ones home.”
