A man has been charged after several schools in south Lethbridge were forced into lockdown protocols last week.
At approximately 11:15 a.m. on Friday, October 3, the Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) says it received a report of a suspicious person at Catholic Central High School on the 400 block of 18 Street North.
The suspect was allegedly seen brandishing a knife in the school’s cafeteria.
“The male confronted two students, causing them to fear for their safety, before leaving the building and walking away on foot,” reads a media release from LPS.
