Western Bulldogs forward Jamarra Ugle-Hagan looks likely to continue his AFL career at the Gold Coast Suns.

Ugle-Hagan and senior club officials are set to meet on Thursday morning, according to The Age’s Sam McClure.

McClure is reporting that Ugle-Hagan’s contract “will be heavily incentivised and will also include behavioural clauses”, giving the Suns some flexibility should he broach those terms.

Ugle-Hagan did not feature at AFL level in 2025 due to personal reasons, is set to sign a two-year deal and will undergo a medical at the Suns this week.

While a trade with the Bulldogs is yet to be fleshed out, McClure wrote “all parties have agreed that Ugle-Hagan will be a Suns player by the end of the trade period”.

The heavily incentivised deal is likely to include games played, goals kicked and best and fairest results.

The Suns have been one of the busiest clubs already this trade period, with Sam Flanders and Malcolm Rosas Jnr departing the club for the Saints and Swans respectively.

Christian Petracca is their main target this trade period, while Bailey Humphrey, Ben Ainsworth, Brayden Fiorini and Connor Budarick are other names who could depart Carrara.
