A man has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap after a woman was reportedly forced into a white tow truck by two men in east London.
Officers were called to reports the woman, aged between 28 and 32, was forced into a Ford Transit on Millharbour Road, at the junction of Lighterman’s Road, in Canary Wharf at about 23:25 BST on 30 September.
A 42-year-old man from east London, who was arrested on suspicion of kidnap on 1 October, has been bailed while enquiries continue, the Metropolitan Police said.
Det Insp Grant Stevens said: “We are keen to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident and are concerned for the welfare of the young woman involved, who we have been unable to identify.”
