Palestinian sources familiar with the details told the Saudi channel “Al-Sharq” that “the mediators will announce later today the ‘zero hour’ for the beginning of implementing the ceasefire agreement and the exchange of Palestinian prisoners and Israeli hostages.” A source in the Hamas movement referred to the fact that “all Palestinian factions, including the Fatah movement, agreed on the agreement signed this morning.” The sources clarified that once the agreement takes effect, Hamas will begin collecting the living hostages and hand them over according to the conditions on the ground and the agreed-upon mechanisms to the Red Cross in the Gaza Strip, alongside the beginning of the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.
