Family relieved after Whangārei builder Jared Carter found safe

Whangārei dad Jared Carter, 40, was last seen on Tuesday driving his orange Nissan Murano. He has contacted family today.

A Whangārei dad missing for three days has been found.

Jess Carter had put a public plea this morning for help to find her brother Jared Carter, 40, who was last seen on Tuesday at a service station on State Highway 1, south of Whangārei.

Jared has since
phoned his sister to let her know he was safe.

Jess said her family were “so relieved” and praised the community for coming together with pieces of information.

“So many of these things don’t end the way this did,” she said.
