Gigi Hadid wished her sister, Bella Hadid, a happy birthday with an adorable Instagram tribute. On Thursday, the Guest in Residence founder commemorated her younger sister’s 29th birthday with a sweet photo of Bella alongside Gigi’s daughter, Khai.
The story showed a photo of 5-year-old Khai with her arms wrapped around her aunt, Bella, as the two hugged at a rodeo. Khai can be seen wearing cowgirl boots and a denim outfit. For her part, the birthday girl wore a plaid flannel tucked into belted jeans with fringe suede chaps and a cowboy hat. Gigi captioned the photo with “Most loving (and spoiling) auntie (and sister) @bellahadid.”
The model also included a Story post of her and Bella when they were kids with the caption, “You better be nice in the comments it’s her birthday @bellahadid.”

The Hadid sisters, who are just one year apart, are known for their close bond, so it only makes sense that Bella shares a tight-bond with her niece. Gigi shares Khai with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik. The pair ended their romance in 2021, but have remained strong co-parents. Khai was born on September 19, 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the birth, Khai’s famous parents have kept their baby girl mostly out of the spotlight, save for the occasional Instagram post hiding her face.
Although Gigi normally keeps Khai’s life private, she still takes every opportunity to express just how much her daughter has changed her life. “She has already given me so much,” she shared with The Sunday Times in March 2023. “I always wanted to be a mom, but I was never obsessive about it or [thought that] I was put on this Earth to be a mom. I’ve always been quite organized, so having Khai at the time that I did was a blessing. I’m so glad to be a young mum.”

Gigi and her beau, Bradley Cooper were recently spotted last month. The pair have been dating for two years since October of 2023. Cooper has an 8-year-old daughter of his own named Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper from his previous relationship with Irina Shayk. In May of 2025, an insider spoke to People about their daughters’ bond.
“Bradley’s daughter, Lea, is so sweet and gentle with Khai,” the insider said, adding that Cooper and Hadid “have a lot in common.”
