Heather Humphreys has suggested that Catherine Connolly’s international outlook is akin to Neville Chamberlain’s 1930s appeasement of Adolf Hitler.

The two candidates clashed on RTÉ Radio 1’s Drivetime programme today with Sarah McInerney and Cormac Ó hEadhra.
