A section of Highway 99 has reopened northbound after an earlier vehicle incident led to a closure for more than seven hours, DriveBC says.
The affected section ran from Steveston Highway to Westminster Highway in Richmond.
The Richmond RCMP says it went to the scene to assist the BC Highway Patrol.
Detours were put in place.

The Provincial Health Services Authority says BC Emergency Health Services was called out to the area shortly after noon.
“One ambulance with primary care paramedics and one ambulance with advanced care paramedics responded to the scene. There were no patients transported to hospital,” said paramedic public information officer Brian Twaites.
