A 21-year-old man has been killed in a two-car collision in County Tyrone.
The collision took place in the Cookstown area on Friday morning, shortly after 6:45am.
Police say that a grey Seat Leon and a grey Volkswagen Bora collided on the Pomeroy Road.
Members of the Ambulance Service and Police attended the scene, but sadly the man died at the scene of the collision.
A woman was also taken to hospital for treatment of her injuries following the crash.
“Our enquiries are continuing, and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have digital footage which could assist with our investigation, to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 235 of 10/10/25,” Police said in a statement.
