The man behind incredible wooden sculptures in Galway has explained how he pulled beauty from the wreckage wrought by Storm Eowyn.

Wood carvings that cropped up in Barna Woods have been marvelled at in the past couple of weeks, with the meticulously detailed handiwork springing up in the forest which was badly hit by what was the biggest storm of 2025.
