Tom Cruise and his second ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, haven’t spoken in well over 20 years, especially after he shockingly filed for divorce from her. Turns out, insiders have alleged that he’s not exactly over the divorce, but not in the way you may think.
In case you missed it, an insider told Heat World UK that Tom is allegedly not too upset about hearing Kidman’s recent divorce from Keith Urban. They said, “Tom took so much grief from Nicole and her Hollywood cronies when they first divorced, he’ll never forget or forgive how villainised he was and in some ways that far reaching perception haunts him to this day.”

“He’s following the divorce news closely and a part of him feels badly for her, since he knows how much she’s hurting,” they added. “But at the same time he’s also allowing himself a little pat on the back and telling people close to him that this is karma doing its thing to a large degree.”
For those who don’t know, Kidman and Cruise met on the set of the hit film Days of Thunder and tied the knot a year later on Christmas Eve in 1990. They worked together on-screen again for the western film Far and Away two years later, and again in 1999 for Eyes Wide Shut.
They adopted two children together, named Isabella Jane and Connor.
Despite officials saying it was an amicable split, Kidman said she was blindsided when Cruise filed for divorce from her in 2001. (Yes, don’t get it mixed up, he filed for divorce from her, not the other way around!)
Before Kidman became the superstar she is today, she told Marie Claire, per Goalcast, that she felt like a trophy at the beginning of their marriage. “I thought, I don’t deserve to be here. We would go to the Oscars, and I would think, I’m here to support [Tom]. I felt it was my job to put on a beautiful dress and to be seen and not heard.”
