One suspect has been charged and another remains at-large following a series of retail robberies throughout Etobicoke over the summer.

Toronto police say they responded to four incidents on May 29 and June 4.

The first happened at a store located in the area of Royal York Road and Lake Shore Boulevard West just before 10 p.m.

Police allege two suspects drove up in a vehicle, with one male suspect walking into the store with a mask to hide his identity.

He allegedly pulled out a handgun, demanded cash, and ran out of the store with some money before driving away in the awaiting vehicle.

Officers responded to the second incident at around 2:10 a.m. in the same area, for a company alarm call.

In this case, authorities say two suspects drove to a store on a motorcycle. One male suspect allegedly walked into the store with a motorcycle helmet on, produced a handgun and demanded money. Police say he left with with an undisclosed quantity of cash before taking off in the awaiting motorcycle.

The third incident happened immediately after, police say, in the area of Royal York Road and The Queensway. Authorities allege the same thing happened, involving two suspects with one male suspect wearing a motorcycle helmet and brandishing a handgun.

Hours later on the same day, at around 10 p.m., police say they responded to a holdup call in the area of Royal York Road and Dundas Street West.

Police say two suspects attended a store on a motorcycle with one male suspect entering the store wearing a motorcycle helmet. They add that he allegedly pulled out a gun and demanded cash, fled empty-handed.

Investigators identified a male suspect and arrested him on Oct. 8. Members of the Hold Up squad executed a search warrant and allegedly recovered an imitation handgun and other items of evidentiary value.

Police arrested 34-year-old Stefan Peric, of Toronto, on Wednesday, who is facing 16 charges, including robbery with offensive weapon and fail to comply court order.

Officers say there is no description for the outstanding suspect.
