Aaron Taylor-Johnson is at the center of some violent claims once again after this rather disturbing incident resurfaced.
On October 5, an X account by the name of @zeglian shared a viral post that resurfaced serious allegations against Johnson. They wrote, “hollywood might have forgotten that aaron taylor johnson and taylor kitsch drove a truck as recklessly as possible because they knew there was a mexican woman in the back with her hands and feet tied and thought it would be hilarious if she got injured, BUT I REMEMBER.”

And let’s just say, a lot of people didn’t know about this, so we’re going to break the entire incident down.
Okay, so this all happened in 2012 for the action thriller movie called Savages, starring Taylor Kitsch, Blake Lively, Johnson, Benicio del Toro, Demián Bichir, Salma Hayek, John Travolta, and Sandra Echeverría. The people you need to know for this are Johnson, Kitsch, and Echeverría.
The movie follows pot growers facing off against the Mexican drug cartel when they kidnap their shared girlfriend, played by Lively. Now, Echeverría played Elena’s daughter, Magda, who the pot growers kidnap in their truck, which leads to a high-speed, chaotic chase.
While it was only supposed to be chaotic on screen, it ended up being extremely dangerous in real life, too. Back in 2022, Echeverría posted a statement on social media, claiming Johnson purposefully pressed the brakes of a truck while she was in the back of the vehicle with her arms and legs bound.
Her tweets, translated, are as follows: “10 years ago, while filming #Savages, I had a scene with Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. We were coming in a truck (me supposedly kidnapped with my hands and feet tied in the trunk). Well, they thought it was really funny between takes to start the truck super hard…(part 1)”
She added, “I decided not to say anything and hold it in, but I hated them. Two arrogant famous teenagers were capable of doing that. Time later at the Premiere, Aaron came to apologize. At least he did seem to feel bad. Taylor couldn’t care less. Does that give you the power of Hollywood? I don’t know.”
So, basically, she claims Johnson was in the driver’s seat, with Kitsch in the passenger’s seat, driving as recklessly as possible, despite her being tied up and having instructions to drive as needed, and ended up seriously hurting Echeverría and laughing it off.
Neither Johnson nor Kitsch has commented after this resurfaced, but it’s safe to say that people are angry.
