Patrick Mahomes threw three touchdowns and ran in another as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Detroit Lions 30-17.
The Chiefs improved their record to 3-3 as they target a fourth consecutive Super Bowl appearance, while the Lions slipped to 4-2.
A Jake Bates field goal gave Detroit an early lead, but Mahomes found Xavier Worthy from six yards for a touchdown.
Jared Goff picked out Jameson Williams at the other end before Mahomes, who threw for 257 yards, ran for his fourth touchdown of the season.
Leading 13-10 at half-time, Kansas swiftly extended their advantage as a drive down field resulted in Mahomes finding Marquise Brown for the first of his two touchdowns, with Sam LaPorta replaying for Detroit in between.
The game ended in a mass brawl when Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster exchanged words with Brian Branch after he rejected a high five from Mahomes and the Lions safety responded by throwing a punch to spark a melee.
The New York Jets’ wait for their first NFL win of the season continued after being beaten 13-11 by the Denver Broncos at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Jets kicker Nick Folk scored two field goals either side of Wil Lutz’s effort, before Broncos quarterback Bo Nix connected with Nate Adkins for a 16-yard touchdown at the end of the first quarter.
Folk then extended the Jets’ lead with a field goal but New York were frustrated by an impressive display from the Broncos’ defence, who eventually finished with nine sacks on quarterback Justin Fields.
Another Lutz field goal sent the Broncos back in front in the fourth quarter for Denver to seal their fourth win, while the Jets slump to their sixth defeat this season.

Jonathan Taylor scored the winning touchdown as the Indianapolis Colts earned a 31-27 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
An entertaining meeting saw quarterbacks Daniel Jones and Jacoby Brissett both throw two touchdowns each before the Cardinals took the lead through Chad Ryland’s field goal.
Taylor then rushed with less than five minutes to go as the Colts wrapped up a fifth win of the season.
Cameron Dicker’s late field goal snatched a 29-27 win for the Los Angeles Chargers over the Miami Dolphins.
The Dolphins took the lead at half-time with De’Von Achane’s touchdown along with two Riley Patterson field goals and Dicker had three successful kicks before Justin Herbert threw for two third-quarter touchdowns.
Miami regained the lead with 52 seconds on the clock thanks to touchdowns from Achane and Tua Tagovailoa, but Dicker had the final say with a 33-yard conversion.
Kicker Ryan Fitzgerald also proved to be the difference as the Carolina Panthers beat the Dallas Cowboys 30-27.
Brandon Aubrey levelled from Fitzgerald’s kick before Dak Prescott threw two touchdowns either side of Bryce Young’s connection to Tetairoa McMillan for Dallas to lead at half-time.
Young and Prescott scored again in the third quarter before Young found McMillan again to send Carolina ahead and although Aubrey levelled, Fitzgerald made a 33-yard kick to snatch the win.
The Cleveland Browns fell to their fifth defeat of the season with a 23-9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Chris Boswell scored three field goals for the Steelers before kicker Andre Szmyt put the Browns’ first points on the board and Pittsburgh stormed ahead as Aaron Rodgers threw for two touchdowns.
There was another frustrating display for the Baltimore Ravens as they slipped to a 17-3 loss against the Los Angeles Rams.
Kicker Tyler Loop scored the Raven’s only points of the game before Joshua Karty levelled with his field goal and the Rams scored two touchdowns in the third quarter when Kyren Williams rushed and Matthew Stafford found Tyler Higbee.
Drake Maye steered the New England Patriots to their fourth win of the season after beating the New Orleans Saints 25-19.
The second-year quarterback threw three touchdowns for 261 yards, including a 53-yard pass to DeMario Douglas.
The Seattle Seahawks earned a 20-12 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Quarterbacks Trevor Lawrence and Sam Darnold both recorded two touchdowns, but Seattle edged ahead with two successful Jason Myers field goals.
Elsewhere, the Green Bay Packers overcame the Cincinnati Bengals 27-18 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were 30-19 winners over the San Francisco 49ers, while the Las Vegas Raiders won 20-10 to send the Tennessee Titans to 1-5.
