Avi, the father of Yosef Haim Ohana, spoke about seeing his son for the first time. He told Keshet News that “he looks fine thank God. He looks really good, even physically – even his facial skin after a year and a half in the tunnel.” The father added: “I couldn’t hear him very well, but it doesn’t matter. I see his smile, remembering his smile from two years ago. I missed his smile so much. This is what we hoped for, expected and wanted. Today we can recite the blessing ‘who has granted us life, sustained us and brought us to this time.’ It feels like we’re in a dream.”
