Defense Minister Israel Katz delivered a message to IDF personnel in active duty, career service and reserves, saying that “On the day when the State of Israel emotionally and eagerly welcomes our hostages returning from Hamas captivity, we look with great pride at this important moment and remember well: this achievement is carried on your shoulders.” According to Katz, “The mission of the defense establishment is not complete and our challenges are not over: we will continue to stand guard.”
