Two men have been arrested and charged in connection to an alleged assault which has left a man hospitalised with serious injuries.
The incident occurred after 9pm on Saturday night in Knockane, Co. Tipperary.
The man, who is aged in his 40s, was initially given medical treatment at the scene before being transported by ambulance to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries.

Two men – both in their 20s – have since been arrested in connection to the matter, with gardaí stating that they have been detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda station in Co. Tipperary.
A Garda spokesperson added: “They have both since been charged and are expected to appear before Dungarvan District Court this morning, Monday 13th October 2025.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
