Young Finn McGettigan was just hours old when he was celebrating his first county championship after Naomh Conaill beat Gaoth Dobhair to win the Senior Championship yesterday.
Finn, the son of senior player Eoghan McGettigan and partner Karla, had been born just hours earlier.
But he was’t too young to have the famous blue jersey draped over his tiny body.
Congrats to Eoghan and Karla and the entire community of Glenties.
Keep an ear out for the name of Finn McGettigan in twenty years time.
Chances are he’ll be slotting over a winning point from on siome ground in the county.
