Speaking to Melbourne’s 3AW this morning, One Nation’s Pauline Hanson has called for Palestinian visa holders in Australia to be sent home, claiming there was “no reason for them to stay in Australia”.
“The peace agreement has been signed, and therefore there’s no reason for them to stay in Australia. I have grave concerns about these people, because about 70 per cent plus of people in Gaza support Hamas, which is a terrorist organisation, I believe it’s also a national security risk,” Hanson said.
Asked whether even those Palestinians in Australia on tourist visas should be allowed to see out their remaining time here, Hanson was staunch in her insistence that they did not belong in Australia.

“The [Temporary Humanitarian Concern] visa will allow them to stay in the country up to three years. When I have problems here in Australia with people who can’t get housing, people living in the cars, families in their cars, people working have to live in tents underneath the bridges in Brisbane, I think it’s disgraceful.
“We don’t know who these people are that we brought into the country, and therefore, you know, the war is over there, so I think they should be sent back,” she said.
Peace remains tenuous in Gaza, with confirmation this morning that Hamas fighters had executed a group of men in Gaza City, and Israel accusing the terrorist group of violating the ceasefire agreement by failing to return the remains of all dead hostages.
