The studio, founded in 1912, has been behind some of Hollywood’s most celebrated movies — including 11 Best Picture winners — from inaugural champ Wings (1927) to classics like The Godfather (1972) and Titanic (1997), which together earned Paramount a total of 110 Academy Awards over the decades. In recent years, Paramount has balanced commercial juggernauts with prestige dramas, including Top Gun: Maverick and Killers of the Flower Moon, both of which scored multiple Oscar nominations.
Will Paramount’s latest lineup continue that momentum? We’ll find out when Oscar nominations are announced Jan. 22, ahead of the 98th Academy Awards on March 15.
