After being closed for over two years and designated as a military zone, Zikim Beach will reopen tomorrow starting at 7:00 AM. The beach was destroyed in the October 7 attack, where 18 people were murdered, including three residents of the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council. The Tekuma Administration and Regional Council spokesperson announced that the beach has been upgraded at a cost of about 20 million shekels. In the first phase, the beach will be open to visitors from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with surfing allowed but no water sports or diving activities permitted.
