Israel – Premier Tech is excited to announce the signing of young Italian climber and all-rounder Alessandro Pinarello for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. 22-year-old Pinarello joins from VF Group – Bardiani CSF – Faizanè, where he has steadily established himself as one of Italy’s brightest emerging riders.
In his four years in the ProTeam ranks, Pinarello has shown promise in both stage and one-day races, including two top-ten results on home soil in the last month with fourth at Giro della Toscana, and sixth at Giro della Romagna.

“The thing that attracted me most about the team was that it was growing and returning to the WorldTour and seeing the team’s results in the last years, I believe it’s a great team to ride for and one that will help me grow,” says Pinarello.
After making his Grand Tour debut at the Giro d’Italia this year, Pinarello has his sights set on lining up at cycling’s biggest races.
“On a personal note, I want to develop further in stage races for the General Classification and to find new limits in one-day races. I would love to win a stage at the Giro d’Italia, but I also have my eye on racing La Flèche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège, and, of course, the biggest dream for any cyclist is to race the Tour de France.”

The addition of Pinarello strengthens IPT’s climbing group and adds depth to the team roster, says General Manager Kjell Carlström.
“The signing of Alessandro Pinarello is part of our ongoing strategy of signing young talent who we believe can continue to develop and grow in our team environment,” explains Carlström. “At just 22 years old, Alessandro already has a lot of experience and has demonstrated his potential but the best is yet to come.
“Alessandro has consistently raced well in the Italian one-day races both this year and in 2024, and on the General Classification front, he has some solid top-ten results to his name. He will add depth to our climbing roster and will be an important member of the team over the next two seasons, where he will also benefit from the opportunity to gain more Grand Tour experience.”
