Defense Minister Israel Katz instructed the IDF to prepare a comprehensive plan to defeat Hamas in Gaza in case of war renewal. This was announced by his office, which added that “as part of US President Donald Trump’s plan, Hamas must return all hostages and bodies in its possession and disarm – while Israel and the international force will work to destroy all tunnels and terrorist infrastructure in Gaza to ensure Gaza is demilitarized from any threat to the State of Israel.” Katz added that “if Hamas refuses to comply with the agreement, Israel will return to fighting and work to defeat it and achieve all war objectives.”
