Toronto police have released images of a suspect wanted in an assault in Etobicoke last month that left one person injured.

It happened in the area of The Queensway and Kipling Avenue on the afternoon of Sept. 12.

Police said the victim was walking on the sidewalk when an unknown man approached and “engaged him verbally.”

The man then allegedly assaulted the victim. Police said the victim fell to the ground and the assault continued.

The suspect fled shortly after, leaving the victim with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the suspect is described as clean-shaven, has short brown hair and was last seen wearing black pants with white lines on the outer thigh, a grey shirt, and dark shoes.

He was walking a brown dog, police added.
