Thousands of high-end perfumes and colognes worth more than $300,000 have been recovered in connection with an investigation into multiple thefts across the city.
Toronto police said their investigation into the incidents began on Sept. 29 and earlier this week, they executed a search warrant at a residence in Milton.
Officers seized 1,880 bottles of stolen perfumes and colognes valued at approximately $319,000 during the search.
As a result, police arrested a suspect, 23-year-old Issam Ahmad of Milton.
He has been charged with trafficking in proceeds of property or things obtained by crime exceeding $5,000, possessing proceeds of property or things obtained by crime exceeding $5,000 and possessing proceeds of property or things obtained by crime for trafficking exceeding $5,000.
