On Thursday, 13 November 2025, prospective applicants are invited to join the European Innovation Council (EIC) Work Programme 2026 Info Day to discover the upcoming funding opportunities and new features introduced under the Work Programme 2026.

During this online event, participants will not only gain insights into the new opportunities, but also have the chance to get inspired by the success stories and lessons learnt from previous EIC work programmes.

High-level speakers from the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) and the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) of the European Commission will present an overview of the three main EIC funding schemes:

EIC Pathfinder: for advanced research on breakthrough or game-changing technologies;
EIC Transition: for transforming research results into innovation opportunities;
EIC Accelerator: for individual companies to develop and scale up breakthrough innovations with high risk and high impact.
 

Dedicated sessions will also highlight the wide range of services available to all EIC-funded projects and companies through the Business Acceleration Services (BAS), including access to coaches, mentors, global partners, and the innovation ecosystem. Additionally, the STEP call, introduced as a novelty under the previous Work Programme, will be included in the presentation.

Moreover, the Info Day will spotlight the new funding scheme introduced in the EIC Work Programme 2026 – EIC Advanced Innovation.
