It’s time for primetime in The Bay. The San Francisco 49ers have closed out another week of preparation and released the final injury report ahead of Sunday’s home matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

Quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) and wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) have officially been ruled out for Week 7. With Purdy sidelined for the third straight game, Mac Jones is set to make his fifth start under center.

Jones, who was limited on Wednesday with knee and oblique injuries, returned to full participation for the final two practices of the week and does not have an injury designation going into Sunday. Head coach Kyle Shanahan noted that Jones made progress throughout practices and “is a lot farther ahead this week than he was last week.”

The 49ers will also have tight end George Kittle back on the offense. After missing time with a hamstring injury, Kittle has no injury designation going into Sunday. Shanahan also shared that he’ll have no snap count for Kittle’s return.

“George has rehabbed really well,” Shanahan said. “He came back 100 percent, had a good week of practice, and we’ll space it out throughout the game, but there’s no pitch count.”

Looking at the defense, defensive lineman Yetur Gross-Matos (knee/hamstring) has been ruled OUT. Defensive tackle Kevin Givens (pectoral), cornerback Renardo Green (neck), and cornerback Upton Stout (shoulder) are all listed as questionable for Sunday’s contest. Stout is a new name on the injury list as Shanahan shared that the corner hurt his ankle on the last play of practice on Thursday.
