Hostage survivors Gali and Ziv Berman published their first statement on Instagram since returning from captivity, thanking people for supporting them since they were kidnapped. “To our amazing nation, just before we’re discharged from the hospital, we wanted to take a moment and say thank you to our family, our friends and everyone who was there for us from near and far,” the two said. “A big thanks for supporting our mother, we felt it every moment even in the tunnels and it gave us the strength to continue. We will not forget the bereaved families who lost what’s most precious. We will not rest until the last hostage returns.”
