Multiple regional communities across Australia will lose their last physical bank branch after Bendigo Bank announced the closure of 28 agencies.
For residents in Taroom, five hours north-west of Brisbane, it means they’ll be faced with an almost three-hour trip each way to get to their nearest bank.
