Ten minutes in, although seven behind, you knew Munster were up for it. After conceding that early converted try to Rónan Kelleher, they levelled it up courtesy of the impressive Brian Gleeson in that opening quarter.
Jack Crowley added the equivalent extras to Sam Prendergast’s effort at the other end but, some sweetly-timed passing from the latter apart, that was as close as it got between the two main playmakers for the rest of the afternoon.
