The Prime Minister’s Office announced that hostage Tal Haimi, who fell in battle defending Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak on October 7, has been identified and returned to Israel. “The Israeli government shares in the profound grief of the Haimi family and all families of the deceased hostages. The government and Israel’s entire hostage response apparatus remain determined, committed and working tirelessly to return all our deceased hostages for proper burial in their homeland. May his memory be a blessing,” the statement said.
