One player is having a better weekend than most of us after scooping a remarkable €7 million in last night’s Lotto draw.
A grand total of €7,129,505 was won by an online player in Co Louth after matching all six numbers in the Lotto draw on Saturday, October 18.
The lucky player bought their winning Quick Pick ticket online the previous day, on Friday October 17.
The winning numbers from Saturday night’s Lotto draw were 6, 13, 14, 27, 35, 44 and the Bonus number was 47.
The win represents the eighth Lotto jackpot win of 2025 and is the second winner from Louth, joining successful players from Dublin, Kerry, Limerick, Kilkenny, Mayo and Waterford.
Spokesperson for the National Lottery, Emma Monaghan, said: “What a win for Co. Louth – a huge congratulations to our latest Lotto jackpot winner who has just scored an incredible €7,129,505. In total, over 90,000 players won prizes in the Lotto & Lotto Plus draws.
“We’re now urging all of our players to check their National Lottery accounts today to see if they’re our latest big winner!”
Lotto bosses have confirmed that a notification and an email has been sent to the online player.
The National Lottery has also urged the lucky winner to make contact with its prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of their prize.
