Donegal Manager Jim McGuinness has named his starting lineup for Sunday’s All-Ireland Final against Kerry.

The initial XV is unchanged from the Semi-Final, where they brushed aside Meath to secure their passage to a clash against The Kingdom.

However it may be a classic case of McGuinness keeping his true cards close to his chest, as he will be seeking to avenge Donegal’s defeat to Kerry the last time they reached a final back in 2014.

Despite some injury worries following an early substitution during Donegal’s demolition of Meath, Michael Murphy will be starting up front in what is sure to be a confidence booster.

After a mightily impressive Ulster Championship win and run to the Final, it may take another masterplan from Donegal’s boss to control Kerry talisman David Clifford.

As expected Clifford was named as part of The Kingdom’s as-of-yet also unchanged starting lineup last night, with the man already crowned by many to be amongst the greatest forwards to ever play the game sure to cause Donegal’s defence headaches from minute one.

We’ll see if Jim has any tactical surprises in store on Sunday afternoon to help bring Sam back to the hills of Donegal.
