A person has been killed in a two-vehicle crash in South Wairarapa.

Police confirmed the fatality this afternoon, after reports of a crash on Bidwills Cutting Rd – at the intersection with Cross Line – about 11am.

The victim died at the scene, a police statement said.

A second person
suffered moderate injuries. Wellington Free Ambulance crews were also at the scene.
