Charlton secured a well-earned point on the road as they shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Hull City at the MKM Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Joe Gelhardt opened the scoring for the home side at the start of the second half, before super-sub Luke Berry struck late on to secure a point for the Addicks away from home.
Nathan Jones made four changes to the side that beat Ipswich Town on Tuesday evening.
Miles Leaburn, Tyreece Campbell and Rob Apter all came into the starting line-up, as well as Harvey Knibbs, who made his first league start.
The first flurry of chances in the game fell to Charlton. Kayne Ramsay found Tyreece Campbell with an excellent ball, and Campbell forced Ivor Pandur into an early save.
Not long after, Rob Apter played a wonderful ball towards Campbell, but he could only steer it over the bar.
The Tigers had a spell of chances as the half wore on, and the game opened up.
At half-time, neither team had managed to break the deadlock.
Within minutes of the second half starting, the home side opened the scoring as Joe Gelhardt capitalised on a defensive error and his strike found the bottom corner.
Charlton looked to respond as Conor Coventry sent a searching ball into the penalty area, but it was nodded just wide by Campbell.
The Addicks piled on the pressure late on as they searched for an equaliser. The ball fell to Luke Berry at the edge of the box, and his effort deflected out for a corner.
The corner ball was swung in by James Bree, and it landed at the feet of Berry, who turned it in to equalise for the Addicks late on at the MKM Stadium.
